  4.  This application was written in response to a plea from
  5. Brian Cowan in an issue of Archive magazine for a simple
  6. utility to convert text into a draw object, and is meant for
  7. use with RISC OS 3 only.
  8.  
  9.  Text>Draw is NOT public domain, but remains the copyright
  10. of Chris Johnson.

  12.  To run the application, simply double click on its icon,
  13. whereupon it will install on the iconbar. Clicking on the
  14. iconbar icon will open the main window. Full help is
  15. available from the application, both via the resident !Help
  16. application of RISC OS 3, and from the application menu,
  17. available by clicking the MENU button when over the iconbar
  18. icon, or the main window.

  20.  When run for the first time, the trinity font family will
  21. be used as default. However, this can be changed, and new
  22. defaults created once the program is running. When using
  23. RISC OS 3 fonts which have kerning tables, then the draw
  24. file produced will have kerned text if that option is set.

  28. The software referred to in these notes is NOT placed into
  29. the public domain, but remains the copyright of the author,
  30. Chris Johnson, and is released as Shareware only, and should
  31. not be posted on bulletin boards or circulated on any public
  32. domain software discs, except by prior and express agreement
  33. with the author.

  35. Anyone obtaining this software other than from the author,
  36. and making use of the software other than for trial
  37. purposes, is requested to register with the author by
  38. sending a minimum of £3. All registered users will be
  39. informed from time to time of any significant improvements
  40. or 'bug' fixes and will be entitled to upgraded versions of
  41. the software free of charge at any time by sending a blank
  42. disc, an SAE and sufficient to cover return postage. A single registration entitles the user to use the complete suite of plotting software produced by the author.

  45. express or implied, is given as to the suitability of the
  46. software for any purpose.
